Chinese government is planning the implementation of blockchain technology and big data analysis to track authenticity of charitable organizations.

The country's Ministry of Civil Affairs has revealed that it has a 4-year plan through 2022 within which it will “explore the use of blockchain technology in charitable donations, charity tracking, transparent management whereby they will build a tamper-proof charity organization information query system and enhance the authority, transparency and public trust of information publishing and search services.”

The state will also use Use big data technology to screen illegal social organization information on the Internet and provide specific clues to combat illegal social organizations. They will therefore be able to identify legitimate social organizations in search results and service lists, intercept and block illegal social organizations, and earnestly safeguard and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the broad masses of the people.
